This kit
contains two small cones for the middle or upper back (dorsal
area) and two large cones for the low back (lumbar area). The Acu-Cones belt has a velcro
surface on the inside where the cones attach along the midline.
Choose the cone
size that is appropriate for the area where you wish to do
pressure points. These are usually tight or tender
muscles on the side of the spine. Place the two cones along
the mid-line of the belt, then in a sitting
position on a chair or car seat, place the belt on your back
with the tips of the cone pointing into the back on
both sides
of the spine. Lean backward into the cone tips and you will feel
acupressure at work.
After a few minutes, you can move the belt up
or down to relax other pressure points. You can increase
cone pressure by laying on a soft surface (i.e. bed) and for
maximum pressure lay on a hard surface (i.e. floor).
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is best to use two identical cones to
apply pressure on both sides of the spine. To relax muscles,
apply the pressure for 3 to 5 minutes. You can repeat the
procedure up to 3 times a day. The Acu-Cones belt can be worn
on exterior of clothing. It is normal to feel sensitivity when
you first apply pressure to the muscle. After a few sessions
you will be able to determine what level of pressure you feel
will help you obtain the maximum benefits from the Acu-Cones
system.

WARNING: The Acu-Cones belt
and cones are very safe to use. Acupressure is a means
of relieving muscle tightness and related pain. Use only
as recommended. If your pain persists more than a few
days, consult your Health practitioner . Do not use
cones on bony surfaces of the body. If allergic to
cotton or plastic do not use Acu-Cones. If you have any
doubts about whether Acu-Cones can be harmful to you,
ask your doctor. |
ACU-CONES
for
SCIATIC pain
Sciatica is a
common condition characterized by pain that originates from
the low back to the buttock (usually only to the left or
right side). Pain frequently continues down the back of the
leg to the knee or
even to the foot. Unfortunately, they are no existing cures
for Sciatica. Acu-Cones utilizes acupressure which can
relieve the irritating pain associated with Sciatica.
Acupressure is
an ancient Asian healing art that has proved it's
effectiveness for over 5,000 years. This system of pressure
points has inspired the development of Acu-Cones by Dr. Rick
McCarthy, a chiropractor with over 25 years experience in
helping patients with sciatic pain.
Acu-Cones for
Sciatica consists of two large cones connected by a string
that
provides acupressure to two strategic pressure points along
the sciatic nerve.
FOR BEST
RESULTS:
-
Lay on
your back on a bed or sofa and apply an ice-pack to the
buttock pressure point for 3 minutes before using Acu-Cones.
-
Bend the
knee slightly and place a cone (Cone A) under the knee
joint.
-
Place the
second cone (Cone B) at the buttock pressure point
midway between the midline and the exterior leg. This
pressure point can be very sensitive.
-
Lay down
on the cones for 3 to 5 minutes up to 3 times per day.
-
Continue
to use Acu-Cones daily. Always remember to place a small
ice pack for 3 minutes on the buttock pressure point
before each use.

NOTE: There is no miracle
cure for Sciatica. Acu-Cones is one of the better
treatments available to people with Sciatica. If your
sciatic pain persists more than one week contact your
health practitioner for further evaluation. |
